Floor space inside a marquee is precious. A typical bar setup can require 2–3 metres of frontage, plus additional space in front for guests to stand and order drinks. A popular trend right now is to install round bars in the centre of sailcloth marquees, but doing so often means the marquee needs to be one or two bays larger, which can significantly increase hire costs. Tipis present another challenge, as their sloping walls often force bars to be positioned around the edges, creating cramped working conditions for bar staff. You can also supply your own alcohol and drink stock, paying only for serving staff if you wish. Other bar trailer companies often require you to purchase drinks directly from them at full retail prices, typically running a tab much like a pub. Our approach gives you more flexibility and better control over your event budget.
7. The Airstream Is Secure

Security is always important when setting up for an event, particularly if equipment and stock are being delivered the day before. With the Airstream trailer from Grizzly Bear Events, we provide you with a rear door key, and the serving hatch can only be opened from the inside. This means you can safely pre-stock the internal fridges and set up your bar equipment in advance, ready to start serving when the event begins. For additional peace of mind, we also fit the trailer with wheel locks and a hitch lock once it’s delivered, ensuring it cannot be moved from site. This allows you to prepare the bar ahead of time without worrying about security overnight.
8. Fast Setup and Minimal Infrastructure

One of the practical advantages of an Airstream trailer bar is how quickly and easily it can be set up. Unlike building a temporary bar structure inside a marquee, the trailer arrives ready to go. With built-in work surfaces, storage, lighting and refrigeration, the bar team can be operational quickly with minimal setup time. This also reduces the amount of extra equipment needed inside the marquee.
9. Complete Power and Refrigeration Options

Many of the outdoor weddings and parties we supply are held in fields or on lawns where power is limited. Our Airstream bar trailer typically runs from two 32A supplies, although in some cases a split 13A supply can be used for lighting, the sink, and fridges. To make things easier, Grizzly Bear Events can provide the complete power solution for your event, including generators and distribution, or simply supply the power needed for the trailer itself. If you’re expecting a busy bar, we also hire refrigerated trailers, which can be positioned discreetly behind the Airstream. These are ideal for storing additional drink stock and keeping everything chilled, ready to restock the bar quickly when demand increases.
10. Branding and Personalisation Options

Alongside our stock of generic bar signage, you’re very welcome to design and print your own custom overhead sign to match your event styling. We’re also happy to assist with design and production if needed. For corporate events or larger occasions, you could take things further with temporary vinyl branding or even a full trailer wrap. This can transform the trailer into a strong visual feature while promoting your brand or theme. We’re open to all of these options, subject to pre-agreed costs and terms, including ensuring any branding is fully removed after the event.

Our trailers require an external power source to run the lighting, fridge, hot water and any electrical appliances you may use.

As a full-service event hire company, we can also supply ultra-silent, event-spec generators. Alternatively, if there is a nearby mains supply, we can connect the trailer directly for you.

Refrigeration

Our trailer is equipped with a full-size gastronorm undercounter catering fridge and a 60cm wide glass display fridge. However, many events require additional refrigeration.

Whether you’re serving drinks at a wedding or catering at a festival, one of our refrigerated chiller trailers is the ideal solution. They can provide ample shelved storage for beer, wine, BBQ ingredients, or street food supplies — keeping everything organised and perfectly chilled.
